This week’s episode was nothing too major, I wouldn’t say.
I pretty much feel like smacking Brooke for NOT going to Los Angeles with Julian. He is delicious and totally what she is looking for. On the same token, I can understand her apprehensiveness. She is scared, that’s cool…..I can relate.. I guess. Mouth and Millie – Yay for them! (as if we didn’t see that one coming…)
Exclusive commentary by Amanda Schull, who played the role of Sarah in the One Tree Hill episode I and Love and You, highlights the 76th One Tree Hill Podcast. It is the ONLY place to hear Amanda talk about the role and playing the character of Sarah. Also, Scott avett, from The Avett Brothers, joins the podcast for an Artist Alley segment, talking about their song being the title of the episode. And the podcast closes out with a review of the seventh episode of season seven by Denise and Stephanie.
Hailey and the students – eh.. good for everyone for standing up for what they believe in! (I just used the word “for” a lot!)
Nathan, Lucas, and Jamie had their stroll down Keith-memory lane – yippie!
Peyton – still alive and pregnant, that’s good!
No excitement, or did I miss something?
But in due time, it will come! OTH will be on a bit of a break (again!) but more new, EXCITING, episodes to come!!
Thanks to a Japanese scientist’s invention of synthetic blood, vampires have progressed from legendary monsters to fellow citizens overnight. And while humans have been safely removed from the menu, many remain apprehensive about these creatures “coming out of the coffin.” Religious leaders and government officials around the world have chosen their sides, but in the small Louisiana town of Bon Temps, the jury is still out.
Local waitress Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), however, knows how it feels to be an outcast. “Cursed” with the ability to listen in on people’s thoughts, she’s also open-minded about the integration of vampires — particularly when it comes to Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), a handsome 173-year-old living up the road. But as Sookie is drawn into a series of mysteries surrounding Bill’s arrival in Bon Temps, that tolerance will be put to the test.
Main Characters
Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), a telepathic waitress in a small town diner
Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), a vampire with whom Sookie falls in love
Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell), the owner of the restaurant where Sookie works
Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten), Sookie’s brother
Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley), Sookie’s best friend (played by Brook Kerr in the unaired pilot)
Lafayette Reynolds (Nelsan Ellis), Sookie’s gay coworker
Detective Andy Bellefleur (Chris Bauer)
Arlene Fowler (Carrie Preston), a waitress working with Sookie
Minor Characters
Hoyt Fortenberry (Jim Parrack)
Rene Lenier (Michael Raymond James)
Sheriff Bud Dearborne (William Sanderson)
Dawn Green (Lynn Collins), another waitress and Jason’s love interest
Adele Hale Stackhouse (Lois Smith), Sookie and Jason’s grandmother ‘Gran’
Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard), a thousand-year-old vampire put to the test.

Something Else:
Bon Temps reaches a fever pitch as Maryann prepares for her ultimate bestial sacrifice, conscripting Sookie to be Maid of Honor at the bloody nuptials. Meanwhile, Sophie-Anne warns Eric to keep the lid on Bill’s inquisitiveness; Jason leads Andy into the heroic abyss; and Hoyt struggles with Maxine’s endless stream of insults. Deliberating on what may be his final move to save Sookie and the town, Sam places his trust, and his life, in a most unlikely ally.the season finale was ok, the Maryann thing went on way too long, she should have been killed at least 3 episodes ago and you could have introduced another character with powers that kept us guessing who and what it is until next season. There was no “Who Shot JR” cliff hanger. Somebody took bill, who cares, he’s been a powerless wet blanket all season. Besides he’s a main character so, he’s not leaving the show. He’ll be held captured by some thing and unable to defend or free himself, so what, that’s how his character has been all season long. Sookie and Jerry the other telepath should have teamed up and killed Maryann, where is Jerry? Also, what’s up with the meaningless scenes with the queen vampire holding everybody hostage and forcing them to play yatzee? Ok, in the words of The Fresh Prince and Jazzy Jeff, “I took it home that Night and Analized it, re-wind the Tape Over and Over and Memorized it” and it still was a waste of film. However, I still like the show, season 1 was the best so far and season 2 is questionable, can’t wait until season 3.
Thanksgiving is definitely the favorite holiday of yours truly. Because when family comes together you know it can only mean one thing: DRAMA! Is it just me or does it seem like Thanksgiving is always the time for secrets to come out? When I think about Thanksgivings from years past my heart skips a beat. And I’m pretty sure this year will be no exception. Pass the GOSSIP GIRL DVD, this holiday is going to be delicious. That is something about gossip girl below:
Special for Olivia:ord has it our movie star college student has officially left campus. No more run-ins with the Endless Knights celebrity in the dining hall or seeing her at your 9am History of Ethics class MWF.ut on the bright side, this also means no more sightings of Olivia making out with Dan Humphrey. Seriously those two were kind of gross. Constantly making out on benches in Washington Square Park. Yuck. Though in actuality I will sort of miss Olivia. She brought major star power to an otherwise lackluster college environment. I suppose having the paparazzi around campus plus the invites to the movie premieres helped…Well, anyway good luck with Bitches of Eastwick, O! Hopefully you’ll get to make out with someone hotter than Dan. (I doubt that’ll be very hard…)
THE NEWEST Spotted: J and E brunching together at JoJo. I guess they’re friends again? V and Paul Hoffman going to see The Maid at the Angelika. So nice to see film snobs sticking together! B and C taking in a Saturday night performance of Hamlet. No word on whether or not they got to go backstage to see Jude Law. Oh, that’d make S jealous! D doing work at the library. Keeping his mind off other things? Definitely! S shopping at Stella McCartney. Nothing like some retail therapy to make you feel better. N entering the lobby at the Empire Alone.
Everybody drop what you are doing and get out your 2010 calendar. If you don’t have a calendar yet, go buy one now. Don’t worry, I’ll wait.
You’re back! Great. Now circle February 2 in bright red ink and paste a picture of Matthew Fox in there. That’s when Lost, network television’s gift to quality entertainment lovers, returns for its final season.
That’s slightly later than its late-January premiere date last year, but more importantly, that’s on a Tuesday night, a night that has never seen old Smokey, time-travel induced nosebleeds, or Sawyer’s glistening bare chest.
The move to Tuesday makes sense for ABC, which has occupied Lost’s previous nights with a mostly successful new comedy block on Wednesday nights and a legitimate TV event with V on Tuesday nights (pairing it with V would seem to make sense, but no show wants to be slotted into the bloodbath that is Thursday nights). Monday will see The Bachelor swooning ratings, Sunday is locked down with Desperate Housewives, and Fridays are Fridays. So Tuesday it is.
Come February 2, Lost fans will be glued to their couches, as ABC has reserved a three-hour block for the show, from 8pm to 11pm. The first hour will be a catch-up hour, as usual, followed by a two-hour final-season premiere. We’ve been promised 18 hours’ worth of Lost’s farewell tour, and ABC has confirmed that the premiere will comprise two of those hours, instead of counting as one episode. After premiere night, Lost will air Tuesdays from 9pm to 10pm.
This puts it in direct competition with CBS’ new hit NCIS: LA (or as I like to call it, NCIS: Westsiiiiiide!), but something tells me the two audiences don’t really overlap and neither will suffer that much.
In other (slightly spoilerish) Lost news, executive producer Carlton Cuse made use of Twitter to confirm the return of Rebecca Mader, who played (my imaginary girlfriend) Charlotte. Cuse said, err Tweeted, “We are very happy to welcome Rebecca Mader back to Lost. Just saw some dailies of her work. Awesome.”
Cuse and producing mate Damon Lindelof haven’t made any effort to keep the fact that old players are returning to the show’s final season a secret. But because they haven’t, I’m starting to wonder if we’re getting bamboozled here. Are they trying to pull one over on us? Do they want us to fall for the bait? Well let me tell you, Damon and Carlton, I’m not going to look too much further than the 57 hours I’ve already spent thinking about it!
