FAQs1. Why are these DVDs so inexpensive?
We do not sell bootlegs, copies, unauthorized material or pirated DVDs. Our DVDs are officially authorized international releases. These DVDs are the same as the U.S. released versions, the same high quality DVD'S. There is only a slight difference with the packaging and may contain Asian and English writing. They are region free or region 1 which is original English audio and NTSC/PAL format compatible, which means they will play on all region coded DVD players. 2. Is the Payment process secure on DVDS-BOX-SET.com? Orders are processed via a secure gateway and a 128bit SSL (secured socket layer). All of your payment information is kept confidential and will be sent over a totally secure connection. 3. How do I place an order? The fastest and the most secure way of ordering is by placing an order through our web site. Our electronic purchase service requires that cardholders provide contact information (including without limitation: name, address, city, state or province, postal code, country, telephone and email), and financial information and ordering information. This information is collected and used to process the transaction and for internal accounting and other procedures. And each order will get an Order Confirmation email to confirm all the information correctly. 4. What are your acceptable payment options? We gladly accept Visa & Mastercard. Your items will not be shipped until payment is complete. 5. Will these DVD's play in English and are they Guaranteed to Play in all USA and Canadian DVD Players? These DVD's play in English and are Guaranteed to Play in all USA DVD Players. ALL DISKS ARE EASILY USED WITH ENGLISH NUMBERS ON the BOXES AND DISKS. They will also play in any other Region 1 NTSC DVD Player. Although the sets are foreign manufactured, the sets are brand new, licensed, legal, factory made high quality DVD's. We do not tolerate or sell pirated or bootleg versions. 6. What is PAL, SECAM and NTSC? NTSC (National Television Standards Committee) is a standard used in North America and Japan. It has the ability to display up to 525 lines of resolution. PAL (Phase Alternating Line), a standard used almost everywhere else in the world, has the ability to display 625 lines of resolution. SECAM (Sequential Color Memory) is used sparingly around the world and can be found in France, parts of Greece, Eastern Europe, Russia, Africa and a few other parts of the world. However, any SECAM country can display PAL tapes in full color, but not all PAL countries can display all SECAM tapes in color. Only if they are true SECAM and not MESECAM can those VCR's display SECAM. 7. What video standard does my country use? If you're in North America, Japan, Korea, the Philippines and parts of South America, you use NTSC. Most other areas of the world use PAL or SECAM. Half of Brazil uses NTSC while the other half uses PAL-M. Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay use PAL-N. The rest of the world uses mainly PAL. If you're unsure what your video standard is, contact your local cable or broadcast company. Also, on the back of most video tapes is indicate what video standard the tape is. This is a good representation of what your video standard is. 8. Are there any additional charges, duties or taxes? International orders are not subject to any tax, but may incur an import duty. For information, please contact your local customs office. Duty is not paid by us and is the responsibility of each individual customer. 9. How long will shipping take? Your item(s) will take approximately 4 to 7 business days to arrive after the order has been dispatched. It usually takes 1 to 3 working days to process and ship out your order. 10. Why do the DVDs I just bought skip and jump? Older DVD players may experience skipping or freezing while playing some of the discs. Newer DVD players have the latest firmware and laser pickups hardware that DO NOT suffer from the freezing and skipping issues that plagued some of the older models. 11. Do you ship worldwide? YES. We currently ship to the USA, Canada and many international locations. Estimated shipping costs can be calculated from the shopping cart. 12.What is the colour of the product? DVDS-BOX-SET.com aim to include up-to-date pictures of all products on our web site. We make every attempt possible to reflect the actual colour of the products in the images presented on this web site. The accuracy of the images displayed also depends on the type of monitor used and the computer settings. Where possible, multiple views of the product are provided, to minimise any discrepancies. 13. How much is shipping? Shipping is charged based on the weight and dimensions of the item. This is a common method, and since most carriers charge on this basis, it is a fair one. We do ship from a number of different warehouses, so the item might be further from your house than you think. 14. Can I change or cancel my order after order has be placed? Please contact with us in 24 hours when you pay us if you want to cancel or change order. We are unable to accept cancellations for products that have already been shipped and our Return Policy will apply in that case. We will cancel your incorrect order if a change need to be made for your order within 24 hours before being shipped. Then you can place a new correct order. Note: DVDS-BOX-SET.COM reserves the right to cancel any order at any time. 15. How can I make a return or exchange? If you are not really satisfied with your purchase, size confusion, a defective merchandise when it arrive, we will be pleasure to accept a return for appropriate refund or exchange for a replacement. 16. I never received my order, what shall I do now? If your order is past the estimated delivery date and you have not received it, please contact Customer service in time. If the tracking information indicates the package has been delivered, please check with your family members or neighbors. Packages are occasionally left with a building manager, or placed somewhere safe such as your porch, garage. The parcel is sent by STANDARD FLAT SHIPPING by USPS you should pay attention on your mail box because the mail service may leave a notice for you to claim the parcel from your local postal office. If we determine that your shipment is outside of our estimated delivery time frame, we will initiate a trace with the shipping carrier in order to locate it. Please allow up to 20 business days for the trace to be completed once you alert us of the issue. If the package can be located, it will be delivered to you. If the shipper is not able to locate the original shipment, we will either send a replacement, or issue a refund. As soon as the trace is completed, we will send you a notification via email. PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL THE SHIPPING INFORMATION YOU FILL OUT CORRECTLY BEFORE YOU CHECKOUT. We are not responsible for the package if any mistake of shipping information. 17. Where do you get these from? These are foreign manufactured sets and may have foreign writing on boxes and/or DVD's. These DVD's play in English and are Guaranteed to Play in all USA , Canadian and Australian DVD Players. They will also play in any other Region 1 NTSC DVD Player. Although the sets are foreign manufactured, the sets are brand new, licensed, legal, factory made high quality DVD's. Oversea release is the release outside of USA. Oversea release could be USA studios release their product in the oversea market, or foreign studios release in the local market. For same title, the difference between oversea release and USA release are: 1. The packaging is usually different, and may have small foreign writing on the cover or discs. 2. Extra subtitles may be added for other languages. (These can be turned off using your DVD player.) 3. Extra audio may be added. (Again, this can be turned off using your DVD player.) 4. Special or bonus features may be different. 5. As you can see, our prices are much lower! 18. Why was my payment declined? Please make sure: 1. All fields in the order form are filled. 2. The card number, expiration date, and security code (3 numbers on the back of the card) are correct. 3. Your phone number includes your area/city code and number with no spaces or dashes. (Your country code will be assigned automatically). 4. Your e-mail address is complete and correct. 5. You provided your BILLING address (where bank sends statements to) 6. If your card is enrolled in Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode please make sure you provide associated PIN code. Otherwise your transaction will be declined. 7. Your card account has enough balance for this purchase. Also, do not use proxy servers and leave cookies enabled.
